Our Student Council have hit the ground running in September. They have made a great job of painting the picnic benches. We’re told the pink handprints on the trees are part of their legacy!! They met with Mrs McHale to discuss the Primary School Survey and had a very thoughtful discussion.
The Student Council are also working hard to support and engage with the younger pupils. They’ve joined the younger classes to teach them how to make slime as part of our Wellbeing Fridays. They also coordinated our Birthday Card Activity. Every child in the school made a birthday card at the start of September and these were gathered together. The Student Council pop into the classrooms whenever there is a birthday, and the birthday child gets to pick out a card from another child in the school.
We are very proud of our Student Council and the impact they are already making in our school.
