Thanks to a generous grant from Analog Devices, our school has recently invested in a wide range of sensory and educational resources to support children’s learning and wellbeing. These purchases include fidget tools, tuff trays for the Infant and SET rooms, ear defenders, feely mats with varied textures, cushions, board games, occupational therapy (OT) resources focusing on core strength, and Magnatiles for the middle room. Together, these materials help children to regulate their emotions, reduce sensory overload, and improve concentration, allowing them to engage more fully in learning. The sensory and OT equipment supports the development of fine and gross motor skills, core strength, and body awareness, which are essential for writing, posture, and overall classroom readiness. Cushions, ear defenders, and sensory tools also enable children to self‑regulate and feel safe and comfortable, while collaborative resources such as board games and Magnatiles encourage problem‑solving, communication, and social skills. We are extremely grateful to Analog Devices for their support in helping us create a more inclusive, supportive, and engaging learning environment for all our pupils.
