Our Student Council paid a visit to Junior and Senior Infants recently. Mrs McHale and Ms Chawke brought in some picture books from home and the “Biggies” chose stories to read aloud for the younger pupils. It was a real treat enjoyed by all the children. Reading aloud to children supports development of vocabulary, fluency and comprehension skills; all of which are needed by good readers. Thank you 6th class!
