Our new climbing wall has been a big hit. The children from Junior Infants right up to 6th class are making great use of it and it is common to see a queue at it during break times. Teachers and SNAs are also using it for brain breaks and regulation breaks outside of the classroom. The climbing enables the children to work on their coordination and core muscles. The Senior classes have come up with different challenges to extend the difficulty for themselves. It is wonderful to see the collaboration and cooperation they use to solve these challenges. The climbing wall was purchased with some of the funds from our fantastic Kilfinny Road Race.
