A big “Go raibh maith agat” to all the grandparents who came to visit us on 21st January. We were all so happy to enjoy mass in the church with them, celebrated by Fr Madigan. Our wonderful pupils treated us to fantastic songs, readings and music. We remembered all the grandparents who were not there on the day, as well as those grandparents who have passed away. It was lovely to have the grandparents in the school to have a chat and a look around after mass. Days like this are so special and they don’t happen without lots of planning. Sincere thanks to Mrs O’Mahony and Ms Chawke for all their work behind the scene to make the day run smoothly. Thanks too to Madeleine for sourcing the beautiful candles. And a big thank you to the Parents’ Association for organising tea and coffee in the Community Centre.
