About Our Class

On this page you will find news and photos from Junior and Senior Infants, their teacher Mrs McHale and their SNAs Louisa and Joanne

Our infant classes focus on learning through play, building foundational skills in literacy, numeracy, and social development. We create a warm, nurturing environment where children feel safe to explore and express themselves

Our Photos

Easter

Junior and Senior Infants learned about the meaning of Easter this week, and how our modern mass developed from the Last Supper. We also created some bunny masks and some chocolate nests for our mini eggs. What a lovely end to Term 2!

Clay Hearts for Mother's Day

Junior and Senior Infants wanted to show their love for their moms this Mother's Day. They moulded clay hearts and painted them. They worked so hard and were so proud of their creations. Well done everyone.

Valentines Day Art

Love was in the air in Junior and Senior Infants. We constructed baskets in Art, cutting out and sticking them together. We then added some sweet treats to share with our loved ones. Hopefully the treats made it home!

Painting

Lots of fun in Junior and Senior Infants with some painting. Pupils decided what to paint themselves, resulting in some wonderful creativity.

Halloween

We had great fun at Halloween, dressing up and experiencing a variety of traditions. Click on the photos to view.

Fine Motor Skills

Pupils enjoy using pegboards to develop their fine motor skills. This supports their handwriting development.
